Společnost ACTHERM – strojírenství, s.r.o. vznikla jako dceřiná společnost ACTHERM servis, a.s. Důvodem byl převod strojní výroby do samostatného právního subjektu. V průběhu roku 2008 se provoz přestěhoval do nově odkoupené haly. V těchto prostorech se mimo výroby soustředilo i zásobování a technicko-administrativní zázemí. Společnost disponuje v současné době ( 2016 ) výrobními prostory v bývalém areálu VT Chomutov. Celková rozloha výrobního areálu je téměř 14.000 m2 a skládá se z výrobních, přilehlých skladovacích a manipulačních hal. Hlavní hala má tři výrobní lodě, každá o rozloze 2.400 m2. Výrobní prostory byly v letech 2008 – 2012 kompletně zrekonstruovány. Haly jsou vybaveny mostovými jeřáby o tonážích 5-12,5t. Společnost nabízí inženýrskou činnost a kompletní strojní dodávky. Hlavní zákazníci se nacházejí ve státech EU a v USA. Export činí více jak 90% z obratu.
