The Waldorf School of San Diego (WSSD) is a private, independent Waldorf School and registered 501(c)3 nonprofit located in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego, California. Our school offers pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade and is the only Waldorf high school in San Diego County. Founded in 1981, it is one of approximately more than 250 independent North American and 1,000 worldwide Waldorf schools. The school is an accredited member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Mission Statement: To awaken each student’s capacity for love of learning, for independent thinking, and for heartfelt service to the world. Our principles: We value humanity, equality, community, and freedom. We offer an education grounded in these principles. • We are guided by our understanding of human development, as elaborated by Rudolf Steiner, as the foundation of our work. Located in Forest City, Iowa, Waldorf is a four-year, liberal arts college that delivers engaging experiences through innovative classroom instruction, both on campus and online. The college offers bachelor degree programs in business, communication, psychology, education, fire science administration, criminal justice administration and more as well as master’s degree programs in organizational leadership, education and business.

So unterstützt Waldquelle ausgewählte Kultureinrichtungen und Veranstaltungen, engagiert sich sehr im und für den Naturpark Landseer Berge, fördert verschiedenste Familienaktivitäten, macht sich stark für die beliebteste Sportart der Österreicher, das Wandern, und rekrutiert seine Mitarbeiter aus der nahen Umgebung. Ursprünglich befand sich die Waldquelle im Besitz der Familie Esterházy. 2008 fand man in der italienisch-schweizerischen Unternehmerfamilie Pasquale einen neuen Eigentümer. Waldquelle Mineralwasser entspringt am Fuße des Paulibergs, dem jüngsten der erloschenen Vulkane Österreichs und wird direkt neben der Quelle in Kobersdorf abgefüllt. Im Jahresschnitt beschäftigt Waldquelle rund 100 Mitarbeiter.
