Creating a community of lasting integrity inspired Vineyard's creators to invest heavily in the community's central feature, its award-winning country club. One of the largest country clubs in Naples, more than 300 acres were dedicated to the club's grounds and its clubhouse is a spacious 70,000 square feet. Vineyards Development Corp. broke ground on the country club in October 1986, and, satisfied in the excellence of every last detail, its planners deemed the club complete in January 1988. Even the best accomplishments can be take to a higher level so to keep the club fresh and competitive to the highest standard, Vineyards Country Club has been expanded and enhanced through three renovations since its original construction. As a result, it has always ranked as one of the best full country clubs in Naples. In fact, the club has received numerous awards over the years, including the People's Choice Award for 5 consecutive years, naming it the best in Naples. The Vineyards'​ 36-hole golf course was selected as the home of the Senior PGA Golf Tournament for five years. Now open only to members, it is still considered a championship course that is challenging to all levels of players. Its maturity makes the beauty of these greens and the surrounding landscaping unparalleled. More than a golf club, Vineyards'​ state-of-the-art fitness center also measures up to the best fitness clubs in the nation. The locker rooms and pro shops added in its second renovation are of service to players using the golf course and 12 Har-Tru tennis courts. Throughout the years, Vineyards Country Club has earned a stellar reputation for its dining and social activities. It is truly one of the most active clubs year-round. Currently there is a new Wellness Center & Spa set to open Fall 2018 and a complete renovation of the Clubhouse set to begin May 2018.
