Veterans United Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of veterans and military families nationwide. The Veterans United Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that strengthen local communities and honor the sacrifices of those who served our country. We also provide individual donations to current and former military members in need. Veterans United Foundation supports a host of nonprofit organizations and veterans groups, from Operation Homeferont and the American Freedom Foundation to Paralyzed Veterans of American and Hire Heroes USA. Veterans’ Outreach is a non-profit charitable organization since 1994. Over the last 28 years, we have helped veterans more than 150,000 times. Our motto is to “respectfully serve and honor all veterans”. Vets have said “Veterans’ Outreach is a safe place, a place where they always leave with their dignity.” We are registered through the IRS with a 501(C)(3) determination, the Department of State, and other government agencies as required by law. We are registered to do business in 6 states including Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia. Our corporate office is in Youngstown, OH. We have regional offices in Pinellas Park, FL, Grayson, KY, and Hartselle, AL. We are a unique service organization comprised of veterans and non-veterans, all sharing the common goal to serve and honor all veterans. Veterans contact us daily with problems concerning housing, utilities, auto repair, and a variety of other needs. For the majority of cases, we are able to provide some kind of immediate relief. We are known for eliminating red tape. We see it as very, very basic. These fine Americans served our country, and we owe them our gratitude, support, and our help. We believe that all veterans, regardless of whether they served in active duty or here at home are entitled to our appreciation and we pledge to serve and honor them for their selfless sacrifice and service. The Veterans’ Outreach Board of Directors guides our staff, volunteers, sponsors, and members. We are affiliated with many like-minded agencies to develop the best solutions for veterans’ problems without duplicating services. We do not receive any government grants, we raise all funds ourselves through our own programs, corporate and foundation grants, online donations, and patriotic CD sales.

Veterans Next Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to helping veterans successfully transition from military service to civilian life by hiring and training them for trades in the construction industry. U.S. Military Veteran and experienced homebuilder Robert Luckett had a desire to create an organization that would provide quality employment and trade skills to our Veterans while allowing him to continue his passion of building and remodeling dream homes. Veterinærinstituttet er et biomedisinsk beredskaps- og forskningsinstitutt med fiskehelse, dyrehelse, dyrevelferd, mattrygghet og fôrtrygghet som kjerneområder. Vi har en fri og uavhengig stilling i faglige spørsmål. Som myndighetenes viktigste kunnskapsleverandør ved forebygging, rådgivning, oppklaring og håndtering av zoonoser og alvorlige smittsomme sjukdommer hos fisk og landdyr, har vi en viktig samfunnsoppgave. Veterinærinstituttet bistår også i forebygging og håndtering av kriser forårsaket av helseskadelige forbindelser og smittestoffer i fôr og mat. Vi yter tjenester og formidler kunnskap til næring, fagpersonell og dyreeiere. Vi er lokalisert seks steder i Norge: Ås, Bergen, Harstad, Tromsø, Trondheim og Sandnes. De fleste fagseksjonene til Veterinærinstituttet er lokalisert på Ås, ca 30 km utenfor Oslo, sammen med instituttets hovedkontor. Til sammen er vi ca. 320 ansatte. Center for Diagnostik DTU er et center under DTU Veterinærinstituttet. Centrets vision er, at være et knudepunkt for udvikling af diagnostik til human og veterinær anvendelse. Vi tager udgangspunkt i den store erfaring og kompetence vi har på området inden for påvisning og karakterisering af smitsomme sygdomme og værtens reaktion herpå. Samtidig udnytter vi vores tætte relationer til DTU's øvrige institutter, hvor en betydelig del arbejder med forskellige teknologier og tilgange til udvikling af ny diagnostik. Vi lægger stor vægt på at være i tæt dialog med industri og erhverv, bla. med en række medicinal- og biotek-virksomheder samt med landbrugserhvervet med diagnostiske interesser. Som en del af et teknisk elite-universitet, medvirker vi til at omsætte den nyeste teknologiske forskning og anvendelsesorienteret viden til fremtidige diagnostik-løsninger. Centret er en del af DTU's life science og bioengineering hub.

Two swiss veterinary practices in the Lake of Geneva region operated and owned by Dr. Jean Pfister. The practices offer a large panel of general and specialised medicine and surgery for small animals (mostly cats and dogs) and exotic pets. The core team is composed of multilingual veterinary surgeons, hence attracting an international clientele.
