Our mission is to promote Vermont's Indigenous arts and artists, to provide an organized central place to share creative ideas and professional development as entrepreneurs, and to have a method for the public to find and engage our artists. All of the artists and performers in this association are citizens of State Recognized Tribes, and are able to legally sell their arts as "Indian"​ made under the Indian Arts and Crafts Act. Vermont's Air National Guard has roots as the fifth guard unit in the United States, federally recognized in August of 1947, a month after President Harry S. Truman signed the National Security Act of 1947 which officially separated the U.S. Air Force from the Army. In 2019, the 158th Fighter Wing made history as the first Air National Guard unit to receive the F-35 Lightning IIs, and will be the second operational F-35 wing in the U.S. Air Force, scheduled to receive a total of 20 aircraft by the end of 2020.

Vermont CARES works for and with Vermonters affected by HIV/AIDS to promote wellbeing through a continuum of prevention, support, and advocacy services. Founded in 1986, Vermont CARES provides services to Vermonters living with HIV/AIDS and provides individuals with HIV prevention education, skills building, and materials. Headquartered in Burlington, VT, Vermont CARES has regional offices in Montpelier, St. Johnsbury and Rutland. From these offices, Vermont CARES reaches 10 of the state's 14 counties, including the most densely populated and the most rural.
