Vancouver Pride Society strives to produce inclusive, celebratory events, and advocacy for 2SLBGTQAI+ communities through an intersectional lens. We strive to produce events that reflect the pride the 2SLGBTQAI+ community has in itself, by strengthening the sense of community, and contributing to the vibrancy, health and overall well-being of all persons in the community.

The mission of the Vancouver Prostate Centre is to foster the paradigm of team-driven translational health research to discover molecular mechanisms of cancer progression and therapeutic resistance, and to use this information to develop new services and products that reduce suffering, improve survival for patients with cancer and promote regional growth of biotechnology.

As one of the first schools in the Northwest, throughout the years we’ve inspired, challenged, urged, supported and charged into unexplored territory. In concert with an informed, engaged community, we’ve developed plans that have produced incredible results. We continue to look ahead. Vancouver Radiologists has two full-service outpatient imaging centers that are conveniently located in Vancouver Village Shopping Center and in South View at Fisher’s Landing in Vancouver, Washington. Our imaging centers are the only physician-owned outpatient centers in the area. As a physician-owned practice, we are able to be more responsive to the changing needs of the community’s health care needs. Our newest location in Vancouver Village Shopping Center boasts a dedicated Breast Center where women can experience comfort and privacy during exams such as Digital Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, DEXA and Breast Biopsy. This center recently received the ACR’s Breast Center of Excellence designation – an indication of only the highest level of imaging quality. Our diagnostic imaging services include CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, X-ray, and minimally-invasive special procedures. All of our radiologists are board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and both of our centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Each of our physicians have sub-specialty training in their field of radiology interest. This means that they have received training beyond the standard medical residency. Our radiologist sub-specialties include: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Body Imaging Breast Imaging Diagnostic Radiology Musculoskeletal Imaging Our team also includes certified technologists and professional center staff. We offer extended and weekend hours for your convenience and strive to provide excellent customer service and ensure you have positive imaging experience.

VST is called to educate and form thoughtful, engaged and generous Christian leaders for the church and the world in the 21st century. Our graduates are thoughtful people, reflective about how to interact with the large issues of our time out of the deep resources of faith. We don’t rush to thin relevance, but linger with scripture, tradition, scholarship and conversation with Indigenous neighbours and people of other faith traditions. Our students are engaged, willing to get involved in the world, not just wait for the next one. Our theological ethos is designed to nurture practitioners who are making a difference for God and the gospel. We are convinced that the Risen Christ is always already involved in the world (we’re missional); we discern that movement and go with the flow of grace wherever we find it – and it is surprising where it is found. Our graduates are generous people, able to find friends with whom to collaborate for the love of God and the good of the world. We go deep with God in Christ and so wide with the world God loves. In 2018 the Vancouver School of Theology received a QS international ranking as one of the ten most improved theological schools and was ranked 39th. 2021 will be the 50th anniversary of the Vancouver School of Theology. Plans for that special year are underway, including initiatives that will carry VST into the next 50 years of service.

Founded in 1919, the Grammy and Juno-award winning Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) is one of the largest arts organizations in Western Canada, Canada’s third largest orchestra, and one of the few orchestras in North America to have its own music school. The VSO and Music Director Maestro Otto Tausk celebrated the orchestra’s 100th anniversary season in 2018-2019. The mission of the VSO is to create, curate and connect irresistible musical experiences. The VSO fulfills its mission by presenting passionate, high-quality performances of classical, popular, and culturally diverse music; creating meaningful engagement with audiences of all ages and backgrounds; and developing and delivering inspirational education and community programs. Performing more than 150 concerts per year throughout Vancouver, the surrounding communities, and the province of British Columbia, the VSO serves over 270,000 patrons annually, including 50,000 children and young adults. The VSO has an operating budget of $18 million, 104 full-time employees (70 musicians and 34 staff), and is governed by a 21-member board of directors. About the VSO School of Music and the Tovey Centre for Music The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music (VSO School of Music) is a purpose-built facility that opened in 2011. The VSO School of Music embraces a community-centered philosophy, with a vision to lead by leveraging the strengths of the VSO and its musicians through complementary and joyful learning experiences. It enriches the lives of students of all ages, infant through adult, by facilitating the learning, playing, and performing of the world’s great music. The VSO School of Music offers comprehensive and integrated programs taught by exceptional and passionate faculty whose goals are to engage and inspire students while celebrating their accomplishments.

The Vancouver Ultimate League is a non-profit society that organizes ultimate frisbee leagues, tournaments and events for over 6000 adult and youth participants every year. Based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, the society is led by a 7-member volunteer board of directors, and managed by multiple staff and volunteers.
