UIC Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd, was established in 1982 as a Network Integrator focusing on hardware and network infrastructure. In October 2000, UIC Technologies Pte Ltd merged with Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Haw Par Corporation Ltd.

UIIP, University - Industry Internship training Program, è un programma di reclutamento e formazione di risorse umane con skill innovativi da inserire nelle aziende partner. Obiettivo del Programma è l’inserimento in azienda di giovani risorse laureate (di 1° o 2° livello) che dopo una fase di formazione ad Ariano Irpino (AV), comune Campano, sito a circa 100km dal capoluogo di regione, Napoli, vengono inserite in aziende partner del Programma UIIP è un programma completamente gratuito per i partecipanti, in quanto finanziato al 100% con fondi privati, provenienti dagli investimenti delle aziende interessare a reclutare e formare nuove risorse umane. La fase di training formativo d'aula ha una durata di 8/10 settimane, ed è contraddistinta da un modello didattico unico nel suo genere: - Approccio Pratico, che bypassa il tradizionale paradigma della formazione teorica, per sposare un modello di formazione completamente incentrato su contenuti pratici, su tematiche di interesse delle aziende partner - Campus Model: al fine di favorire lo sharing di competenze e lo sviluppo di un modello di crescita a 360° di ciascun allievo, UIIP si basa su una logica residenziale, simile ai modelli dei Campus anglosassoni - Soft Skills: a UIIP non si lavora solo sulle competenze tecnico/pratiche, ma anche sulle competenze trasversali/soft skills, sempre più strategiche per la crescita professionale (es Pubblic Speaking, Team Work, Professional Development ecc).
