UTA Racing is the Formula SAE team from The University of Texas at Arlington. Every year our team designs and builds a formula-style race car to compete in the SAE International Formula SAE® Series against other universities across the globe. Established in 1982, the team is one of the most successful in the series'​ history, having won eight championships in the United States and three abroad. The mission of UTA Racing is to drive students to their limits to form a dominant team and to develop a quality race car with the sole goal of competing to win Formula SAE competitions. By winning, we will positively represent the university, our sponsors, and ourselves. We will also provide a dynamic learning environment where participants will gain valuable real world engineering experience as well as a strong sense of team pride, dedication, and professionalism, which will ultimately lead to successful future careers.

The Utah Afterschool Network (UAN) is a non-profit organization established in 2005 by a consortium of over 100 afterschool practitioners, youth advocates, and leaders of state agencies. We work to connect key decision makers and resources to establish statewide structures that foster policies committed to funding and sustaining quality afterschool/out-of-school time programming. UAN believes that every child in Utah should have access to high quality afterschool/out-of-school time programs.

Our mission is to advance county issues with the state and federal government, improve public understanding of county government, assist all twenty-nine counties to develop and share solutions through research and education, and provide effective support services to county officials to foster public trust and improve the efficiency of county government.

We serve as a parent organization for a variety of programs that are designed to strengthen Utah's communities and civic institutions. Our responsibilities as a parent organization include centralizing administrative functions, providing oversight of our programs, coordinating resources among our programs, and acting as employer for all staff. As the parent company, the staff and board of UCIV have a number of strategic questions and business decisions to consider, including the organizations mission, vision, and values, board structure, staffing, and administration. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that believes decisions shaped by facts, rather than ideology, have the power to improve public policy and practice, strengthen communities, and transform the way that we live our lives.
