Upward Hartford is a state of the art 27,500-square-foot co-working facility comprised of office and shared space for entrepreneurs and start-ups. The hub embraces the co-working movement with membership-based workspaces where diverse groups can work together in a communal setting. This helps shape a professional community that thrives on innovative synergy and social networking between its members. The mission of the hub is to make innovation accessible to every member of the community, from inner city high school students learning to code to young graduates starting new businesses. Upward Transitions is a private nonprofit agency founded in 1925 and incorporated in 1927. Its primary source of funding is from United Way of Central Oklahoma with additional funds from Federal, State and City grants, an Annual Board Fund Raiser, Foundations, and private contributions. Upward Transitions serves those who are homeless and impoverished by providing case management and stabilizing resources to meet basic social needs. The ultimate goal is to assist individuals and families to reach their potential with the ability to support themselves and contribute back to their community. Upward Transitions is committed to community development and advocacy for the poor and homeless.

Upwardly Global unleashes the potential of immigrants to secure skill-aligned careers through industry-specific coaching, digital training, and employer partnerships. We work with organizations to expand their talent pools and implement effective hiring practices, while advocating for policies that strengthen the American economy and local communities. Today in the U.S., more than two million work-authorized immigrants, refugees, and asylees with professional experience and international degrees are unemployed or underemployed, working survival-wage jobs that leave them and their families struggling to make ends meet. For over 20 years, Upwardly Global has connected work-authorized immigrant professionals by helping them secure skill-aligned jobs to ensure a competitive workforce, build resilient communities, and contribute to a robust U.S. economy. Upwell is dedicated to protecting turtles at sea, where they spend most of their lives. Even with strong protections at nesting beaches, pernicious threats offshore can push sea turtle populations into decline. Six of the seven sea turtle species found around the world are threatened or endangered. Critically endangered populations, like East Pacific leatherbacks, are on the verge of extinction. Upwell uses innovative tools to track sea turtles in the ocean and even predict their movements. By understanding where turtles go and how they use different marine habitats, we can better advance protections for turtles at sea.
