The main goal of "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse is its development and recognition as a significant regional and national educational and research institution, as well as its becoming an indelible part of the European education and research space. The mission of the University is based on the experience it has accumulated during its long existence, which justifies the significant place it has taken in the family of higher institutions in Bulgaria. University of Telecommunications and Post was founded in 1881 as a State School of Telegraph and Post. In 1923 with a decree № 60 King Boris III approves a law on opening a school for a practical and theoretical study of telegraphic and post office. The main goal of this school is to prepare officials for the General Directorate of the Ministry of Post and electricians for the army. The university got its present name with a decision of the National Assembly on May 26 2015. It trains graduates in specialties from professional directions "Communication and computer science" and "Administration and Management". Today the University of Telecommunications and Post trains more than 1,100 students in the specialties: - Telecommunications; - Telecommunication Networks; - Wireless Communications and Broadcasting; - Telecommunication Informatics; - Computer Administration of Software Applications; - Management and Information Technology in the Telecommunications
The University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI) is a graduate education and research institution located 70 miles south of Nashville and 70 miles north of Huntsville, AL (Rocket City, USA). UTSI is adjacent to the U. S. Air Force Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC). UTSI was established in 1964 as part of The University of Tennessee and has become an internationally recognized institution for graduate study and research in engineering, physics, mathematics, and aviation systems, hypersonics, and propulsion - and has made remarkable contributions at the local, state, national, and global levels.

The University of Tennessee is a public land-grant university headquartered at Knoxville. Founded in 1794, it is the flagship institution of the statewide University of Tennessee system with nine undergraduate departments and eleven graduate departments and hosts more than 26,000 students from all 50 states and more than 100 foreign countries. In its 2009 ranking of universities, U.S. News & World Report ranked UT 118th among national universities and 52nd among public institutions of higher learning.
