Dedicated to preparing innovative and collaborative leaders, the UC Davis Graduate School of Management offers graduate degree programs consistently ranked among the top tier in the United States and internationally. The school’s learning environment is distinguished by globally visible faculty members renowned for their research and teaching, entrepreneurial students and bold and innovative curriculum that integrates collaborative leadership through teamwork in class and extracurricular activities. With prime locations in Northern California’s economic hubs, the school offers Full-Time MBA and Master of Professional Accountancy programs at the UC Davis campus, and Part-Time MBA programs in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. An Online MBA and online Master of Management are the first of their kind in the UC system. A Master of Science in Business Analytics is based in San Francisco. The school also offers undergraduate minors in Accounting and Technology Management, and a new undergraduate business degree launches in fall 2025. The UC Davis School of Medicine is among the nation's leading medical schools, recognized for its research and primary-care programs. The medical school nurtures the development of medical students, resident physicians and scholars in the clinical and basic sciences and supports the dissemination of research advances for the benefit of society. University of California, Irvine is home to a medical school rich in history and tradition that spans more than 100 years. The oldest continually operating medical school in the Los Angeles area, the School of Medicine was founded in 1896 by A.C. Moore, one of the first graduates of osteopathic medicine, and B.W. Scheurer, a medical doctor with German and American training.

Faculty in the three highly-ranked departments within the School of Social Ecology share a commitment to scholarship that views human behavior in a larger social and institutional context, that moves beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries, and that seeks to disseminate knowledge beyond the confines of the university to a broader public. The faculty pursue knowledge production and dissemination in the service of fostering informed social action as they address issues ranging from global poverty to prison overcrowding, from gang violence to healthy child development, from health risks to community empowerment. The School is an internationally recognized pioneer in developing interdisciplinary approaches to social problems that encourage flexibility and independent thinking among faculty and students and nourish collaboration across different fields and with people of many different experiences.
