USMS is a national membership-operated nonprofit organization that provides membership benefits to nearly 70,000 Masters swimmers across the country. These benefits include insurance, SWIMMER magazine, sanctioned events, and many others. USMS and its 52 Local Masters Swimming Committees (LMSCs) provide direct support to more than 1,500 Masters Swimming clubs and workout groups. Structure and organization of USMS programs vary and are driven by factors such as pool availability, instructor or coach availability, community support, and finances. The majority of locations offering Masters Swimming programs have coaches on deck. Coaches write workouts and provide feedback and instruction.

The USMMA Alumni Association and Foundation shall exist to serve, assist, and perpetuate the USMMA at Kings Point, New York, its Regiment of Midshipmen, faculty, staff, and alumni. It shall support the USMMA's mission of educating and graduating Merchant Marine Officers who will become leaders in the commercial and defense transportation services of the United States. The USMMA Alumni Association and Foundation shall provide financial support for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes by raising and distributing funds, some of which will be maintained in an endowment. The USMMA Alumni Association and Foundation shall also foster and encourage the development of the Academy to meet the future transportation needs of the United States, and shall enhance the prestige thereof by acquisition, preservation, and dissemination of information pertaining to their history, activities, methods, and objectives.

MHRP is at the forefront of the battle against HIV. Our mission is to protect U.S. Service Members from HIV and improve global health by conducting research to develop an HIV vaccine, reduce new infections and advance strategies to induce long-term HIV remission. With an international network of research sites throughout Africa and Asia, the program’s growth and success has been achieved through a combination of strong science, careful development of research sites and partnerships with key research institutions in the U.S. and host countries. Since its inception in 1986, MHRP has emerged as a world leader in HIV vaccine research, threat assessment and epidemiology, HIV diagnostics and remission research. The integration of prevention and treatment through the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) has helped MHRP build strong and trusting relationships within the communities where research is conducted and provides an ethical framework to conduct HIV clinical research. MHRP is centered at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. The U.S. Probation Office for the Southern District of California serves the Court by investigating and supervising individuals convicted of federal crimes. Some examples of federal crimes include interstate drug crimes, tax evasion, major frauds, cybercrimes, and immigration violations. We are headquartered at 101 West Broadway, San Diego, with 2 additional offices in the counties of San Diego, and Imperial. Within our district, a U.S. Probation Officer works in the following areas of the federal criminal justice process: Independent and objective investigation prior to the individual being sentenced as to assist the Court in determining an appropriate sentence (Presentence Unit); and supervision of the individual following their sentencing (Supervision Unit). Officers in this unit also provide supervision of individuals released on parole by the U.S. Parole Commission, military parole cases, and those previously sentenced within the District of Columbia.
