We have been trading now for 16 years with a portfolio of hotels and businesses that extends well beyond the Suffolk Coast. Our journey started in 1996 when we purchased the Thorpeness Hotel & Golf Club, a beautiful art deco hotel surrounded by a fantastic James Braid designed golf course with an impressive national reputation. This was swiftly followed by the purchase of the Thorpeness Country Club in 1997, right on the beach and a perfect venue for a quintessentially English wedding, function or event. Our first hotel in Aldeburgh was the purchase of the White Lion Hotel, in 1999, recently refurbished with a stunning bar & brasserie, something different for the town of Aldeburgh. Two years later in 2001, the Brudenell Hotel extended our portfolio, right on the beach in Aldeburgh, offering a stylish stay with great dining, at this fashionable coastal town. Our first inland purchase took place in 2005 with the purchase of the iconic Swan Hotel in the heart of England's finest medieval village of Lavenham. Offering enchanting and exceptional accommodation and dining. 2008 saw the purchase of the boutique inn hotel the Crown at Woodbridge, followed 2 years later by Bespoke, the outside catering specialists arm of the Crown.
