Salients first line of products were monopolar electrosurgical devices used in applications such as liver and pancreatic resections. Today, the companys bipolar AQUAMANTYS® System is used across a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopaedic reconstruction, spine surgery, orthopaedic trauma and surgical oncology. Both monopolar and bipolar products are currently used throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Salients primary product offering is the AQUAMANTYS System, comprised of a bipolar electrosurgical generator & pump system and a handheld disposable device. The system uses patented TRANSCOLLATION® technology, which provides hemostatic sealing of soft tissue.
