Salibandy on Suomen nopeimmin kasvava ja kehittyvä joukkueurheilulaji. Haluamme luoda liikettä, joka synnyttää elämyksiä, hyvinvointia ja menestystä. Salibandyllä ja sählyllä on Suomessa yhteensä noin 400 000 harrastajaa ja lajia seuraa 1,1 miljoonaa suomalaista. Rekisteröityneitä pelaajia ja harrastajia on jo yli 69 000. --- SUOMEN SALIBANDYLIITTO RY (SSBL) on valtakunnallinen liikuntajärjestö, jonka tarkoituksena on edistää, valvoa ja ohjata maamme salibandyn ja sählyn harrastusta ja kehitystä. Liitto toimii siihen kuuluvien järjestöjen ja urheiluseurojen yhdyssiteenä. Vuonna 1985 perustetun Salibandyliiton toiminnan perustana ovat liikunnan eettiset arvot ja urheilun reilun pelin perusteet, ja toiminnassaan se pyrkii edistämään tasa-arvoa.
