Safe N' Happy Periods is an initiative towards creating a shame-free & pain-free menstruation. SNHP is part of AMODINI FOUNDATION, a registered trust Mumbai Public Trust 1950 (Regd. No.: E11500/Thane). The founder, Sarika, lives in Navi Mumbai and travels everywhere to meet people in various age groups for this initiative. We conduct talks & workshops for girls over 9 years of age across different sections of society. We encourage them to come out of shyness and talk about their concerns and myths. SNHP's aim is to talk about various aspects related to Menstruation cycle right from menstrual hygiene and health, prevailing practices, precautions, prevailing practices for menstrual disposal and waste, environment concerns etc. 18,000 plus girls & women reached so far, we achieve this by conducting talks & workshops for girls over 9 years of age across different sections of society. We encourage them to come out of shyness and talk about their concerns and myths. We hope to de-stigmatise the topic and make it more gender neutral.
