Safe Option Solutions provides safety training and equipment to refineries, mining, construction and other industrial sites. We are active in the promotion and supply of a wide variety of height safety, confined space and rescue equipment, accredited training, on-site crane and mobile plant inspections and installations, site rigging and safety audits, specialist site-wide audits for confined space, height safety, roof safety, guardrailing and ladder inspections, provision of shut-down safety personnel, placement of specialist personnel for specific tasks, materials handling, spill containment, fire safety equipment to mention a few. We are based in Townsville, North Queensland, and have grown out of a desire to provide solutions to industrial site issues, not just sell safety products. Safe Passage helps children in the Guatemala City garbage dump community break the cycle of poverty through education, emphasizing life skills and perseverance in order to thrive in work and contribute to their community. Safe Passage is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working in Guatemala City to bring hope, education, and opportunity to the children and families living in extreme poverty around the City's garbage dump. Our program includes approximately 500 children, ranging in age from 3 to 21 years, coming from nearly 300 families in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Safe Passage Project provides free lawyers to 800 child refugees who are being deported. Many children embark alone on the long and dangerous journey to the United States seeking protection. They are fleeing trauma such as gang violence and recruitment, abuse, and sexual assault. In 2017, the federal government reported apprehending over 40,000 immigrant children seeking entry to the United States. Closer to home, the New York Immigration Court has more than 15,000 cases involving children on its docket. Immigrant children are not afforded free legal representation by the government, regardless of their age. As a result, more than half of immigrant children must go through immigration proceedings without the aid of a lawyer. Unable to effectively argue their claim for the legal protections they may qualify for, more than 80% of these children are issued deportation orders. To many, this means returning to the danger from which they fled. This is where Safe Passage Project steps in, providing free legal assistance to these refugee and immigrant children in New York City and Long Island who are facing removal despite their strong legal claim to stay in the United States.
