American football in Lake Constance - Upper Swabia region - top sport for the whole family If you're looking for action, excitement and drama in the form of a fast-paced sport for the whole family, you're in the right place with the Ravensburg Razorbacks footballers. The American football team make up one of the most attractive sporting events. The Razorbacks, originally founded as Lindenberg Razorbacks, have a long history. So theycould celebrate the 30th anniversary in 2017 by winning the runner-up in the GFL2 South. In 2018 they were for the first time champion in the GFL-2 South but had to be defeated in the Play-Offs aggainst a first league team. In 2019, however, succeeded by winning the championship in the GFL-2 South and the victory in the Play-Offs promotion to the 1st league - the GFL-1 South - the largest success in the club's history! Even today, numerous youth players who currently wear the Ravensburger jersey have made it into the selection teams of the state of Baden-Würtemberg. The continuous youth work of recent years is also reflected in the current numbers of players. With almost 700 covered seats, several hundred standing places, a floodlight system, perfect connection to public transport (bus and train) and generous areas for catering, kids club and events, the Lindenhof Stadium in Weingarten offers an ideal infrastructure for high-class American football. The "Razor-Dome"​ not only accommodates up to 5,000 spectators, but also houses the VIP rooms - the "Football Alm"​. An average of over 1,700 spectators followed the home games in the 2019 season – so the Razorbacks were a lone spike in the entire GFL2 (#7 of all 32 GFL1 and GFL2 clubs) and on the other the "audience croosus"​ among all outdoor ball sport teams in the region Lake Constance - Upper Swabia. American football in Ravensburg is more than just sport. It combines emotions, passion and tradition.
