Ravenna Football Club vuole essere l’organizzazione di riferimento per tutto il calcio ravennate, raccogliendo la tradizione centenaria che dal 1913 ha fatto sentire generazioni di ravennati affezionati ai colori della città nel calcio e orgogliosi di prendere parte a questa causa sportiva. Per non disperdere questo prezioso patrimonio, si vuole rendere il Club una istituzione cittadina e comunale rappresentativa nel tempo, con radici profonde e una stabile organizzazione, che sappia coniugare l’aspetto sociale con quello tecnico calcistico in controtendenza rispetto alle attuali dinamiche di gestione delle società sportive, dove l’aspetto della crescita umana e tecnica dei ragazzi e della reale valorizzazione del talento è relegato in obiettivi secondari. L’aspetto tecnico-educativo dell’attività di base e giovanile è infatti l’elemento di traino di tutto il progetto, che ha l’obiettivo di dare ai ragazzi del territorio locale la possibilità di misurarsi nella pratica sportiva e identificarsi con i valori di Ravenna Football Club, “luogo” dove poter crescere e far crescere la passione degli amanti del calcio romagnolo. In simbiosi con la crescita dell’attività giovanile, obiettivo di Ravenna Football Club è formare una prima squadra che possa essere per i ragazzi del territorio l’ultimo gradino della progressione dell’offerta formativa per la valorizzazione del talento locale romagnolo, rappresentando dunque un vero e proprio punto di arrivo.
