Quercus TFI S.A. to pierwsze w Polsce publiczne towarzystwo funduszy inwestycyjnych, którego oferta skierowana jest do zamożnych i bardzo zamożnych Inwestorów. TFI zostało założone w sierpniu 2007 r. przez grupę doświadczonych specjalistów z branży inwestycyjnej na czele z Sebastianem Buczkiem. W lutym 2008 r. Quercus TFI S.A. otrzymało zezwolenie KNF (Komisji Nadzoru Finansowego) na prowadzenie działalności. Pod koniec marca 2008 r. zaoferowane zostały 4 pierwsze unikalne subfundusze wchodzące w skład funduszu QUERCUS Parasolowy SFIO. Najważniejszymi wydarzeniami w historii Quercus TFI S.A. były: IV 2008 – zawarcie pierwszych umów dystrybucyjnych z czołowymi bankami, firmami ubezpieczeniowymi, biurami maklerskimi i doradcami finansowymi VI 2008 – podwyższenie kapitału Quercus TFI S.A. do 14 mln zł poprzez prywatną emisję 10 mln akcji serii C po 0,80 zł IX 2008 – Quercus TFI S.A. staje się pierwszą w branży spółką publiczną, akcje notowane są na rynku NewConnect, cena z pierwszego dnia notowań wynosi 0,68 zł IV 2009 – Quercus TFI S.A. wprowadza usługę zarządzania aktywami (asset management) i doradztwa inwestycyjnego IV, V 2010 – uruchomienie funduszu QUERCUS Absolute Return FIZ oraz trzech kolejnych subfunduszy wchodzących w skład QUERCUS Parasolowy SFIO XI 2010 – uruchomienie funduszu QUERCUS Absolutnego Zwrotu FIZ III 2011 – debiut akcji Quercus TFI S.A. na rynku głównym GPW w Warszawie, cena debiutu wynosi 3,30 zł V 2012 – uruchomienie subfunduszu QUERCUS Gold X 2013 –uruchomienie subfunduszu QUERCUS Stabilny XI 2013 – w składzie akcjonariatu powyżej 5% po raz pierwszy ujawnia się duży inwestor finansowy - NN OFE posiada wówczas 6,72% akcji spółki XII 2015 –uruchomienie QUERCUS Multistrategy FIZ V 2017 – uruchomienie subfunduszu QUERCUS Global Growth XII 2018 - zmiany w strategiach subfunduszy i uruchomienie QUERCUS Dłużny Krótkoterminowy, QUERCUS Obligacji Skarbowych, QUERCUS Global Balanced oraz QUERCUS Global Balanced Plus FIZ
