Nansen Neuroscience Network is an innovation network, firmly rooted in basic science, and create partnerships between researchers, clinicians, patients, and life science companies. We are a non-profit and public-private innovation network funded by our members and based in Norway. We use the Nordics as a springboard to secure global impact. Norway´s leading universities, university hospitals, neuroscience research groups, and life science companies are our members. We welcome members from all the Nordic countries.

Créée en 2012, le Nantes Métropole Athlétisme (NMA) est une entente entre 3 clubs historiques de la région nantaise : l’AC La Chapelle sur Erdre, l’Herbauges Athlétic Club et le Stade Nantais AC. Le Nantes Métropole Athlétisme fait partie des meilleurs clubs français, tant sur le nombre de licenciés (1815 en 2018) que sur le plan des résultats (équipe interclubs en élite, top 16 français). Au classement national FFA, qui prend en considération les résultats mais aussi la qualité des nombreux encadrants bénévoles (entraineurs, officiels et dirigeants), le club pointait même en 5ème position à la fin de la saison 2019. Le club encadre la pratique de l’athlétisme dans sa diversité (compétition, découverte, loisir, santé, marche nordique, handisport) pour toutes les catégories d’âge (8 à 88 ans) et tous les niveaux, du débutant aux internationaux représentant la France dans les plus grandes compétitions planétaires (Championnats du Monde, Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques). Le NMA œuvre également à la promotion de son sport à travers de nombreuses manifestations sportives départementales, régionales et nationales (courses sur route, cross, trails, meetings sur piste, en salle…) qui regroupent chaque année près de 20 000 participants, et autant de spectateurs. The Port Authority works in partnership with the Region’s public-sector and private-sector stakeholders to deliver economic and environmental improvements on the Loire Estuary, on which the Port is located. As an industrial facility, Nantes – Saint Nazaire Port provides the interface between land and sea, serving an entire Region and its economy. An international industrial and logistical platform, the Port is connected to several modes of transport, including sea, inland waterway, rail, road and air. Every year it receives close to 3 000 calls by merchant vessels, 1 200 goods trains and nearly 250 inland waterway barge convoys. For importing and exporting companies in the regions of Greater Western France, Nantes – Saint Nazaire Port makes available doorstep services that serve to optimize supply and distribution chains. Nantes – Saint Nazaire Port is also a regional planner and developer. Working alongside public-sector players (Central, Regional and Local Government bodies, consular organizations, etc.) and private-sector players (industrial companies, port-based and logistics firms, shippers and so on), the Port Authority contributes to economic development and helps create wealth and employment. The activities at the Port of Nantes – Saint Nazaire generate 24 400 jobs* at some 500 establishments forming a single port and industrial complex. * according to a study carried out by INSEE, the French National Institute of Economic and Statistical Information, and published on 29th June 2015.
