L’Azienda Newfloor produce pavimenti sopraelevati made in Italy dal 1986. Fondata dalla famiglia Matterazzo, dopo i primi anni di attività maggiormente per conto terzi, l’Azienda decide di differenziarsi dalla produzione di allora, che prevedeva in larga parte finiture con materiali resilienti quali vinili, laminati, linoleum e gomme. Si specializza pertanto nella lavorazione di materiali duri e lapidei e propone, per la prima volta sul mercato, formati fuori dallo standard 60x60 cm (ad esempio 60x90, 60x120, 45x90, 75x75 cm). Nel 1994 inaugura la nuova sede a Codevigo (Padova) e nel 2003 si propone con il proprio marchio sul mercato nazionale e internazionale. Vengono studiati nuovi prodotti e brevettate invenzioni industriali: il 1998 è l’anno del pannello per sopraelevato rivestito con più piastre di gres porcellanato bordate tra loro con fuga permanente e resistente, mentre nel 2013 arriva il sistema Freefloor, pavimento auto posante a secco. Negli ultimi anni propone e perfeziona due nuovi prodotti: Radiafloor, il pavimento sopraelevato con modulo radiante per riscaldamento e raffrescamento a pavimento e la struttura autocentrante e antisimica S-Lock System. Nel 2015 realizza la nuova immagine coordinata aziendale, che darà inizio a un processo di trasformazione dell'azienda, arrivando al rinnovo del HQ. Novità 2020 è Lumifloor, la nuova proposta Newfloor per un pavimento sia da interno che da esterno che si illumina al buio grazie a speciali pigmenti che si caricano con la luce. Ultime innovazioni in casa Newfloor sono Radiafloor C, sistema di pavimento per outdoor con riscaldamento radiante al carbonio e Lumifloor Led, il pavimento sopraelevato che si illumina grazie a una lampada integrata. La capacità produttiva di Newfloor è di circa 200.000 mq all’anno. L’Azienda ha tutt’oggi la sede legale a Codevigo (Padova) insieme allo stabilimento produttivo di circa 4.000 mq, con un ufficio commerciale a Milano, oltre a una rete vendita in Italia e all’estero.
