NVTS, Inc. is a San Diego-based 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting veterans in adjusting to civilian life and securing meaningful employment by combining best-practice performance social solutions and techniques. The organization was established by a group of retired high ranking Naval and Marine Corps officers and workforce development professionals who seek to fill a tremendous gap in the continuum of veteran services. We offer a unique military to civilian transition workshop called REBOOT. REBOOT Workshops is a free three-week intensive military-to-civilian transition workshop that provides extensive training focused on three areas: Personal Transition, Lifestyle Transition & Career Transition. REBOOT addresses the personal and social aspects of transitioning to civilian life by using research-based, outcome-driven methods drawn from best practices in career planning and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Our workshop training is supplemented with extended follow-up that enhances career opportunities, promotes social networking, and leverages peer support. REBOOT is available to military active duty, veterans of all wars, and spouses. Accomplishments: - Conducted 89 REBOOT Workshops and graduated over 1500 service members/veterans. - Maintained an employment/education success rate of 97 – 98%. - Documented a high retention rate one year after graduating from REBOOT. - Our model and system of delivery has been validated independently by the University of San Diego. - Gained national recognition as a "Champion of Change" by the White House. - Earned the support and confidence of Navy and Marine leadership in the region resulting in local transitioning service members being given official permission to take off three weeks to attend the workshop. - Successfully tested our ability to scale the workshop to multiple areas such as; San Diego, Oceanside, Irvine, Los Angeles, Norfolk, & Detroit without loss of quality, effectiveness, or impact.

Established in 1972, the mandate of the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) as defined in the NWSC Act 2000, Cap 317, is to operate and provide water and sewerage services in areas entrusted to it on a sound, commercial and viable basis. Currently, the Corporation is responsible for the provision of water supply and sewerage services in 66 towns, spread all over the country, with a population of 3.6 million people. This represents 77% of the large urban centres.
The National Waterways Conference, established in 1960, is the only national organization to advocate for Congressional authorizations, funding and common sense policies and laws that recognize the widespread public benefits of our nation’s water resources infrastructure. Membership includes waterways shippers and carriers, flood control associations, levee boards, port authorities, industry and regional associations, dredging contractors, water supply districts, hydropower producers, engineering consultants, and state and local governments. By fairly representing the multiple users of water resources, NWC has earned the respect and credibility of decision-makers in Congress and the Administration. Partnerships and Collaboration: NWC is very active in engaging its members as well as other organizations • NWC hosts a spring Legislative Summit and Congressional Reception in Washington, and a fall Annual Meeting in various locations critical to water resources, including among the guest speakers high-ranking Executive Branch officials and Members of Congress • NWC-USACE Partnership Agreement – periodic meetings with small groups of members to hold candid and robust discussions on various policy issues • Waterways Alliance – NWC holds monthly meetings in Washington with other water resources interests to discuss issues of mutual concern and forge productive relationships, along with guest speakers from federal agencies and Congressional committees
