National Chiao Tung University was founded in the suburbs of Shanghai in 1896, sixteen years before the birth of the Republic of China, at the suggestion of Hsuan-Wai Shen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Ching Dynasty. The University was first named Nanyang College. It was established to meet the urgent need to introduce western civilization into China. The college initially focused only on politics, law, and translations of western books. In the later years of the Ching Dynasty, the college was renamed the Vocational College of Higher Education and was governed by the Ministry of Post and Transportation. By Including new vocational programs, such as business, electrical engineering, shipping management, and railway management, the college played a major role in science and engineering education in modern China.

The National Child Protection Task Force, a registered 501c3, leverages innovative investigative techniques and cutting-edge technology to solve complex crimes against children and missing persons cases with speed and precision; working alongside law enforcement to help locate victims, identify predators, and restore justice and hope to affected communities. Since 2019, the NCPTF has helped authorities identify hundreds of missing and exploited children, aiding in the swift recovery of countless survivors. The task force has identified hundreds of predators and trained tens of thousands of law enforcement worldwide. We volunteer our time to serve any agency– small or large, on complex, time-sensitive cases involving missing children, exploitation, child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), and human trafficking. The experts that make up the NCPTF come from all walks of life and professional backgrounds, but we are united in our understanding that we have a responsibility to make society a better place for everyone, especially our most vulnerable members.

At the National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC) we are champions for children and work to strengthen the global response to child abuse. We do this in two ways, by serving the children and families of Madison County, Alabama, and by training child abuse response professionals around the world. Created in 1985, under the leadership of former Congressman and District Attorney, Bud Cramer, we are the first Children’s Advocacy Center in the world and have served as a model for the thousands of Children’s Advocacy Centers and Barnahus throughout the world. The CAC model coordinates the multidisciplinary response to child abuse allegations bringing together professionals from law enforcement, social services, mental health, and medical fields to ensure that every child receives comprehensive support and care. Through our innovative programs, training initiatives, and advocacy efforts, we strive to prevent child abuse, empower survivors, and educate communities. We believe that every child deserves to grow up in a nurturing environment free from violence and fear, and we work tirelessly to make this vision a reality.
