The National Aerospace University “KhAI” is a leading Ukrainian technical University that provides a full cycle of higher education in the field of aviation and aerospace engineering. Since the University foundation in 1930, its history is closely connected with aircraft engineering and science global development. At different periods, the following well-known scientist and aerospace engineers worked in KhAI: Prof. I. G. Neman, Prof. A. M. Liulka, Designer General O.K. Antonov, etc. Today more than 12 000 students and 160 PhD students are trained at the University. 700 lecturers (incl. more than 100 Professors and Doctors of Sciences, 400 Associate Professors and Candidates of Sciences) and above 2000 teaching staff members are employed at the KhAI. The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (formerly National Action Committee on AIDS) was established in February 2000 to coordinate the various activities of HIV/AIDS in the country. Among other purposes, NACA's mandates are to: Coordinate and sustain advocacy by all sectors and at all levels for HIV/AIDS/STDs Expanded Responses in Nigeria; Develop the framework for collaboration and support from all stakeholders for a multi-sectoral and multi-disciplinary response to HIV/AIDS in Nigeria; Develop and present to the Presidential Council on AIDS, PCA, all plans on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria for policy decisions; Develop and articulate a strategic plan for an Expanded National Response to HIV/AIDS in Nigeria; Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Strategic National Plan for the control of HIV/AIDS/STDs in Nigeria and all other approved policies; Coordinate and facilitate the mobilization of resources for an effective and sustainable response to HIV/AIDS/STDs in Nigeria, and Undertake any other duties as assigned by the PCA from time to time.

NACA, founded in 1962, is a trade association comprised of fifteen air carriers, certificated under Title 14, Part 121 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Our members are a diverse group of air carriers, providing non-scheduled and scheduled passenger and cargo services. NACA carriers fill a unique niche in the air carrier industry, offering services in response to ever changing demands by the U.S. military, the traveling public, and businesses.
