Mantle is an architecture practice based in London. We are thoughtful, creative and pragmatic. We collaborate with our clients and employ our skills to make buildings that are meaningful and joyful to their users, deliver on their brief, speak to their context whilst announcing their own identity, and display their architectural integrity through meticulous attention to detail. Since 2002 we have designed apartment buildings, youth hostels, independent hotels, a train station, affordable housing, mixed-use masterplans, a community centre, bespoke penthouses, one-off houses and extensions, public realm, student accommodation, a school pavilion, air-rights and oversite developments, holiday homes and commercial office buildings and workplaces. We work in urban and rural locations, on complex sites, in conservation areas and on listed buildings, each project driven by the same spirit of inquiry and with the same goal of crafting something individual, meaningful and joyful. We build long-term relationships with our clients, professional consultants and building contractors, because these relationships help us make better buildings. We seek and encourage collaboration, drawing on the varied experiences of fellow architectural practices and the skills and knowledge of complementary designers, specialist fabricators, suppliers, craftsmen and artisans, to further refine and enhance our designs. Mantle offers the full range of architectural services from design to delivery. We also provide related services in urban design – to create a vision for / to help unlock and add value to larger sites – and interior design – to complement and inform a building’s architecture and refine or fundamentally change the way a space is used.

L'Azienda nasce nel 1964 per iniziativa di Antonio Mantoan. L'attività è concentrata dapprima in ambito cittadino e regionale e si estende successivamente sul territorio nazionale: questi primi lavori hanno gettato le basi per i requisiti di affidabilità e puntualità che ancora oggi caratterizzano la mission aziendale.3 Successivamente, a partire dai primi anni Novanta, grazie all'impegno di Giordano Mantoan, attualmente responsabile e principale garante dell'efficienza e della professionalità offerte, l'attività, che sul territorio nazionale aveva ampiamente conseguito i risultati attesi, si estende rapidamente anche in Europa: si assiste, infatti, ad un energico processo di diversificazione dei servizi offerti e di specializzazione nel settore fieristico e dei trasporti eccezionali. L'esperienza sviluppata e la grande attenzione alle esigenze del cliente hanno permesso all'Azienda una rapida ascesa nel settore degli autotrasporti su strada, consentendo una decisiva crescita ed il continuo rinnovamento del parco automezzi. Mantoan Trasporti si caratterizza oggi per la determinazione e l'impegno con cui continua a crescere, per consolidare i risultati raggiunti ed aprirsi di fronte a nuove prospettive di sviluppo: la nuova sede aziendale, inaugurata nell'estate del 2008, si estende su una superficie complessiva di circa 15.000 mq ed è stata pensata e progettata proprio con l'intento di offrire anche servizi di logistica integrata per l'imballo delle merci e le successive spedizioni. L'elemento che rende l'Azienda leader nel settore è la costante apertura verso nuovi orizzonti di crescita, specializzandosi, ad esempio, anche nel trasporto via mare e via aerea, al fine di completare la gamma dei servizi offerti. Perseguire l'obiettivo del miglioramento continuo rappresenta per l'Azienda un assunto di base per lo sviluppo delle attività nei prossimi anni.

A história começa com meu pai, o Ismael, e o início das atividades da Mantovani & Mori Sondagens e Fundações em 1983. A empresa, atuante por mais de 30 anos no segmento geotécnico, executou mais de 5.000 obras superando as 100.000 estacas. Saímos da empresa, mas continuamos a trajetória. Fomos colegas de classe durante a especialização em geotecnia e ingressamos no mestrado em estruturas e geotecnia pela UNICAMP. A MANTOVANI Geotecnia é um projeto de pai e filho. Aqui buscamos trabalhos inovadores, calcados na boa prática da engenharia civil através de tecnologias modernas e controle rigoroso de mão de obra. Como? Fazendo nós mesmos.
