MIA is a community of lively young artists in the making. Founded in 1967 as a non-profit making organization, MIA has trained and produced thousands of creative professionals who have contributed their creative skills to various industries in this country. In decades of successive generations, this institution has expanded, offering a range of Diploma courses in the field of art, design and music with comprehensive and well designed course contents. The emphasis is placed on the mastery of creative skills, in-depth inquires, conceptual development, critical thinking and digital knowledge. MIA makes every effort to nurture talents, encourages creative expressions from our students while integrating multi-ethnic cultural values into our programs to enhance our students’ learning experience. Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance 199801002833 (458959-M) MICG was established in March 1998 following recommendation by the High Level Finance Committee on Corporate Governance. The Institute was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee, with founding members consisting of the Federation of Public Listed Companies (FPLC), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA), and Malaysian Institute of Directors (MID). MICG’s principal activities are to promote and encourage corporate governance development, provide education and training for the benefit of its members and other interested institutions or bodies in Malaysia.

Malaysian Institute of Economic Research is an independent, non-profit organisation devoted to Economic Research that serves as a think-tank for the government and the private sector. MIER undertakes independent and high quality problem-oriented research on economic, financial and business issues facing the country and provides advice on macroeconomic management, development and future economic perspectives. In undertaking this task, the Institute seeks to achieve the following objectives: Serve as a bridge between the government, the private sector and the universities, and become a focal point for economic, financial and business research in the country; Undertake economic research projects commissioned by clients in the public and private sectors; Collaborate with other research institutes, at home and abroad, on topics of relevance to the country; Publish and disseminate the results of its research work, and organize symposium and conferences to promote exchange of ideas and views; Provide occasional training for officials from government agencies and private sector organisations. The research activities of the Institute are organised into four research divisions, namely, Macroeconomic Surveillance and Forecasting, Policy Studies, Industry Studies and Area Studies. The research projects undertaken by the Institute are mainly applied and policy-oriented in nature.

Independent, non-political and non-profit, MIM serves as a platform for the free exchange of management knowledge and experience, bringing together managers and organisations from all fields of human endeavour. It is also a development centre committed to enhancing and maintaining professional management standards. Amongst MIM's core products and services, are management development programmes designed for the improvement of skills and knowledge of its participants. Our programmes are attuned to market needs, preparing participants for current and future work demands. MIM draws its strength from its individual and corporate membership with representatives from virtually all sectors of economic activity in the country. MIM also accords Honorary Fellowships, the highest grade of membership, Court of Emeritus Fellows and General Council to outstanding individuals who have contributed significantly towards the field of management. As a professional body, each member contributes an entrance fee and annual subscriptions. These subscriptions are channeled back to members through the upgrading of facilities, improvement of existing training programmes, and development of new programmes to keep members abreast with the latest in management theories and practices. MIM's national charter and challenges will require it to be innovative and forward looking to prepare Malaysian workers and the present and future generation of managers to be able to competently handle and manage new dynamic challenges, enabling us to navigate our way to compete successfully and to achieve our Malaysia 2020 vision of becoming a developed nation. MIM is a partner for collaborative activities with other allied institutions and a member of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO).
