We aim to connect women through plethora of campaigns, social networking tools, events and collaborations to encourage them to pursue their ambitions and changing conversations from what we can't do to what we can do. The chapter commits to offering women the inspiration and support to help them achieve their career goals.

What is Lean In? LeanIn.Org was founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg to empower all women to achieve their ambitions. It offers inspiration and support through a network of 500+ partners, an online community and free expert lectures. Since the organization’s launch in March 2013, the LeanIn.Org community has grown to over 800,000 women and men and more than 33,000 Lean In Circles in over 150 countries. What we believe Women accomplish amazing things when we support each other. When a woman helps another woman, they both benefit. And when women celebrate one another’s accomplishments, we’re all lifted up. Together women can do more, go further, and change the world. Lean In Singapore Our Lean In Singapore community is made up of more than 6,000+ women and men who come together to be inspired, educated and to support and collaborate. These women are mostly in full time employment (93%) and represent a broad age range (33% are under 30, 42% are 30-39 and 25% are 40+). The group is culturally diverse with 33% Singapore citizens, 18% PR and 42% on a work pass across a wide range of nationalities (Australian, Brazilian, Canadian, Danish, French, Indian, Indonesian, Malaysian, Myanmar, NZ, UK, Philippines, Romania, USA). All have higher education, with 44% having a Bachelor degree and 56% a Graduate degree Events The Chapter meets four to six times a year. Events are hosted by organizations that donate the space and offer refreshments. Lean In Singapore sets the programme, theme and agenda in collaboration with the event host. Tickets are made available online, and the event is open to the Lean In community and beyond. Past events have been hosted by INSEAD, Cisco, Lazada, Edelman, Bloomberg, Dimension Data, Uber and TechXLR8 Asia, and have covered topics on personal branding, mentorship, unconscious bias, women in the workplace, and putting the spotlight on women in tech.
