The LATCo Network (LN) is the official representative body for Local Authority Trading Companies (LATCo) across the UK. Membership is made up of LATCos and Local Authorities (LA) organisations. Supporting members to deliver services which are affordable, innovative, value for money and support local communities. With many challenges facing LAs, including the need to explore new models to effectively and efficiently deliver services to local residents, a growing number of LAs have established one or more LATCo as an alternative model to traditional forms of outsourcing, with the added benefit of generating new revenue to help pay for services. The LN with select partners provide a range of support services to LATCo and LA members to enable innovation through establishing new structures and models in local services delivery. What does a good LATCo look like? What are the real benefits of moving to this way of working? How does a LA capitalise on the full potential of a LATCo model? The LN is setup to not only answer these questions, but provide advice, guidance and support to members. Members benefit from advice from founder members with experience in exploring new deliver models and making positive impact in their local authorities. This page will keep you up to date with the LN as well as bring you a wealth of content on LATCos from key stakeholders across the network. LATECOERE Czech Republic je pokračovatelem společnosti LETOV, první letecké továrny v Česku. Ta byla založena v roce 1918 jako podnik na opravu letounů. V roce 1922 začal Letov vyrábět vůbec první vojenský letoun Š. A. V dobách studené války pak licenčně vyráběl především křídla, ale i další díly pro sovětské letouny MIG. Letov stál také za legendárními letouny L-29 Delfín, které byly výsledkem spolupráce s Aero Vodochody. Dalším z řady úspěchů byla výroba a vývoj letounů L-39 Albatros. V roce 2012 Letov leteckou výrobu odkoupila francouzská společnost LATECOERE Groupe. Jako součást větší integrace do mateřské společnosti se v roce 2013 Letov přejmenoval na LATECOERE Czech Republic. LATECOERE v současné době vyrábí a dodává své produkty významným světovým výrobcům letadel, jako jsou Airbus, Embraer, Boeing či Dassault. Mateřská společnost sídlící ve francouzském městě Toulouse je nejvýznamnějším střediskem leteckého a kosmického průmyslu v Evropě. LATECOERE Czech Republic se významnou měrou podílí na tvorbě výrobního portfolia celé skupiny.

Als gemeinnütziger Verein der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit wurde das Lateinamerika-Zentrum e.V. (LAZ) 1961 in Bonn gegründet. Seit 60 Jahren stehen die Menschen in Lateinamerika im Mittelpunkt unserer Arbeit. Das LAZ hat mit rund 1000 Hilfsprojekten bereits in 17 Ländern Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe geleistet. Gemeinsam mit Partnern vor Ort trägt der Verein zur kontinuierlichen Armutsbekämpfung bei. Außerdem leistet das LAZ entwicklungspolitische Bildungsarbeit in Deutschland. Dabei sieht der Verein seine Aufgabe darin, die europäische Öffentlichkeit über die Lebensbedingungen der Menschen und die Arbeit der Projektpartner zu informieren. Gleichzeitig kommen auch der kulturelle Reichtum und die kreative Vielfalt dieses Kontinents bei Begegnungsfesten und interkulturellen Veranstaltungen zum Ausdruck. Das LAZ wirbt dafür, globale Probleme und Zusammenhänge nicht nur aus europäischer Perspektive zu betrachten.
