The Lake Elsinore Storm are a Minor League Baseball Team located in Lake Elsinore, California. The Storm are a Class-A Advanced Affiliate of the San Diego Padres and competes in the California League. The Storm has hosted home games at the Lake Elsinore Diamond (Pete Lehr Field) since being established in 1994; and the stadium has a seating capacity for 7,866 fans, but can be extended for special events and concerts. Field of Screams The Haunted Stadium takes over the stadium throughout October to spook guests in haunted mazes. The stadium also is home to the Diamond Taproom, a full-service restaurant that operates year round. The Lake Elsinore Storm are proud to be a pillar in the local community and a provider of affordable, family fun. The icon of the Storm is Thunder, the big green dog, who is the self-proclaimed Prince of Pawsitivity and two-time Mascot of the Year. When Thunder isn't causing a raucous at the Diamond, he can be found at community events and he even hosts his own reading program at local schools. Cadejos de Lake Elsinore is the Copa de la Diversión identity of the Storm. The Storm are three-time California League Champions. Lake Elsinore Unified School District With roots going back to schools that opened in the late 1800s, the Lake Elsinore Unified School District is one of oldest public school systems in Southern California. Covering more than 140 square miles in Southwest Riverside County, the district serves the cities of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake and Wildomar and several unincorporated communities, including Lakeland Village and Horsethief Canyon. The district serves nearly 22,000 students at 13 elementary schools, two K-8 schools, four middle schools, three comprehensive high schools and four alternative schools. With more than 3,000 permanent and substitute employees, Lake Elsinore Unified is one of the biggest employers in the region. For the 2010-11 school year, the district's adopted operating budget is $153.7 million. Lake Erie Power Corp (LEPC) is an independent energy transmission developer serving the North American market. LEPC’s Values and Principles are at the core of everything we do. LEPC’s focus is on increasing the supply of clean and renewable energy in North America using safe and reliable high-voltage direct current (HVDC) technology. LEPC is committed to responsible development that respects local communities and minimizes environmental impact. In June 2014, ITC Holdings Corp. acquired the ownership and development rights for the Lake Erie Connector from LEPC. LEPC continues to support the development of the Lake Erie Connector which will move energy between Ontario, Canada and Pennsylvania, U.S.A. where it will be connected to the PJM network (Regional Transmission Organization comprised of thirteen states including Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia). Using safe and reliable HVDC technology, the transmission line will be buried under Lake Erie. The line will have minimal environmental impact during and after installation and have low visual impact due to underwater cable route.

Having started service in 2004, Lake Express Ferry transports more than 100,000 pleasure and business travelers across Lake Michigan from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Muskegon, Michigan each year. Owned and operated in Milwaukee, the high-speed auto ferry is the only one of its kind operating within the continental United States. It is equipped to comfortably transport nearly 250 passengers, 46 vehicles and 12 motorcycles. Conversions may be made to accommodate a total of 114 motorcycles. Powered by four 3,000 hp diesel engines, the 192-foot-long catamaran crosses Lake Michigan in 2 ½ hours – a fraction of the time it would take to drive the 300 miles around.
