Kaj Johanssons Åkeri är ett familjeföretag som nu är inne på tredje generationens företagare. Verksamheten bedrivs inom tre huvudsakliga affärsområden; Mark & Anläggning, Täkt & Maskin, Transport & Logistik samt i systerbolaget Allmiljö affärsområdena Miljö & Återvinning och Slam & Renhållning. I koncernen har vi 160 anställda, 70 lastbilar och 35 anläggningsmaskiner. Huvudkontoret finns i Vännäsby där vi också har vår verkstad. Vi har även kontorslokaler och personalutrymme på Kontaktvägen 16 i Umeå (Magneten). Väg- och förstärkningsarbeten är ett prioriterat område, men vi utför många andra arbeten, ex. VA, grundläggning och rivning/sanering. Vi säljer även material från ett flertal egna berg-, grus, sand- och matjordstäkter. Vi har egna grusbilar som levererar material till egna projekt såväl som kunder från våra täkter. Inom Transport & Logistik finns bulk-, tank- och flisbilar. Här är fokus traditionell åkeriverksamhet med långsiktiga relationer och kontrakt såsom exempelvis foder- och oljetransporterna. I och med förvärvet av P O Glaas Åkeri AB i januari 2012 så har vi breddat vår verksamhet till att även omfatta transporter av biprodukter från sågverksindustrin, exempelvis flis, spån och bark.
