Kids Run Free is a registered charity (charity number 1146636) founded by Martine Verweij and Catherine O'Carroll in 2010 and based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Our mission is to create fun, sustainable running opportunities for 0-16 year olds, igniting their passion for sport and physical activity and allowing them to become healthier, happier, more confident children. To achieve our mission we currently have two running programmes: Kids Run Free in the Park and Marathon Kids that has been designed for Primary schools. Kids Run Free in the Park: We organise free regular running events in parks and green spaces in towns and cities across the UK. We currently organise 31 of these events in the following locations: Leamington Spa; Alcester; Coventry: War Memorial Park and Longford Park; Solihull: Bentley Heath Recreation Ground and Jubilee Olton Park; Birmingham; Leicester; Leicester: Knighton Park and Braunstone Park; Nuneaton; Coalville; Worcester; Tamworth; Richmond (London); Northampton; Daventry; Rugby; Bedworth; Brighton; Warwick; Wallingford; Pershore; Worthing, Brent (London); Hillingdon (London). Marathon Kids: Marathon Kids is a project that aims to give school children the opportunity to complete a marathon throughout the course of the school year by running laps of a course once or twice a week during their lunch break. The concept is based on personal achievement rather than competition - this encourages all children, regardless of fitness ability to take part by running as much or as little as they choose. We are currently working with 92 UK primary schools with over 20,000 children challenged to take part of the programme for the 2016/17 academic year. We are always looking for opportunities to set up new Kids Run Free venues. If you're interested in setting your own, please get in touch with Kids Run Free Parks coordinator Louise Askew - louise@kidsrunfree.co.uk

Kids Up Front provides experiences to deserving kids, teens and families. These experiences nurture their spirits, feed their imagination and inspire their dreams! Kids Up Front started as a grassroots charity initiative in Calgary in 2000 when local businessman John Dalziel wondered how unused tickets at the Saddledome could be put to use. Since 2000, Kids Up Front has given local kids and families over 470,000 event tickets – from hockey and football games to concerts and plays – valued at over $16 million. Kids Up Front works on behalf of over 283 registered partner agencies to facilitate experiences. The agencies agree to strictly abide by our policies in selecting children, youth, and families who would benefit most from your donations of tickets or passes.

Kids Up Front Edmonton was created in 2003 to provide access to arts, sports and cultural events for children and youth. Our organization grants event tickets that would otherwise go unused to deserving kids identified through our network of partner agencies that provide child and family services in the Edmonton Capital Region. Kids Up Front strives to provide every child and youth with a "larger than life" experience that fosters possibilities, passions, and dreams, one ticket at a time. Through Kids Up Front, children and youth are given opportunities to broaden their experiences and feel part of their communities. Kids Up Front enhances the services of community agencies by helping to create environments for kids to build social skills, while simultaneously enabling frontline workers to build meaningful relationships with those they serve.

KidsCanCode.org was created in 2013 by Chris and Priya Bradfield. Being the parents of two girls, we are very aware of what does and does not work in today's K-12 educational programs. With the continued struggle for public funding, we've seen how hard it is to expose children to any curriculum outside of the standardized testing requirements. We think that's a problem, especially when it comes to preparing the next generation of scientific and technology professionals. Our goal is simply to teach children to code. We believe that a basic understanding of software engineering provides a set of fundamental skills that is vital, both to the child's future and the future of the global economy. It's not just about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), but also about liberal arts: being able to think critically about problems is the first step to finding solutions. An early introduction to computer science is an investment in the future.
