The way clothes envelope the unique flow of energy through every human body is Ioanna Kourbela’s main source of inspiration. In 2003, following her studies in fashion design, and courses in costume and set design, she presents her first ‘Ioanna Kourbela’ designer brand collection. Revealing the different aspects of a minimalist aesthetic, the family business that was established in 1971 with specialization in handmade knitwear, evolves and three distinct collections are born. The Ioanna Kourbela Female & Male Exclusive Collections, Ioanna Kourbela Accessories, as well as the timeless Basics Collection, which was awarded this year with the Emerging Designer Award at the Pure London international trade show, comprise the main creative axis of the company. While, the strategic creation of the sur mesure bridal ‘White Collection’ that followed incorporated Ioanna Kourbela into the haute couture market. Furthermore, the design of theatrical costumes for the Athens Festival as well as other theatrical and cinema productions, are part of the same need for expression. The Ioanna Kourbela designer brand has steadily grown presence in the local and international markets, with more than 100 partnerships and three flagship stores in Greece, while exporting to over 23 countries globally (in Europe, United States, and Middle East). Grondbank GMG is een landelijk opererende grondbank en ruim 15 jaar actief op het gebied van hergebruik van (licht) verontreinigde grond en/of baggerspecie.
