Bank Right at JVB. The Juniata Valley Bank opened for business for the first time on August 5, 1867. Since that time, The Juniata Valley Bank has served Central Pennsylvania and beyond with a commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction. Starting with just one office in Mifflintown, Juniata County, the bank has gradually grown over time to include 15 local community offices in Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin, Perry, Potter, and McKean counties, along with two ancillary offices that focus on loans and other financial services. Effort is constantly being exerted to increase the value of our company by meeting the needs of our customers. Member FDIC.

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. JA Big Bend serves students in northwest Florida. Junior Achievement's (K-12) program is accredited by the Florida Department of Education, correlates with Florida's Common Core Standards and is offered at no charge to Florida teachers and schools. By using experiential, hands-on learning tools to inspire kids, they learn to be creative and to dream big; and they begin to experience the realities and opportunities of the world of work and entrepreneurship in our 21st century global economy. JA Big Bend is facilitated by a network of teachers, local entrepreneurs and business professionals. Local volunteers from the Tallahassee business community have delivered educational programs to over 12,000 school-age children in Leon County alone, growing our local program into a premier, business education experience. Volunteers have an opportunity to engage a classroom of students who are excited to learn; and those students will soon become our community's future bankers, teachers, neighbors, and business owners. Teaching our future workforce the value of entrepreneurship, personal finance, and work readiness in our global economy is both rewarding and necessary.

As one of the largest social organizations that encourage young people in the world, JA encourages and develops them for the job market. Through the "learning-doing"​ method, pioneering financial education, preparation for the job market and entrepreneurship, we generate paths for employability and job creation.

Somos una organización internacional sin fines de lucro, cuyo objetivo es fomentar e inspirar la actitud emprendedora en niños y jóvenes de primario, secundario y superior, permitiéndoles valorar sus propios objetivos y luchar por alcanzarlos. Año a año, los programas de Junior llegan a más de 300 escuelas de gestión pública y privada de la provincia, beneficiando aproximadamente a 12.000 niños y jóvenes por año. Estos logros son posibles gracias al auspicio de más de 150 empresas que apoyan la tarea educativa de la Fundación, posibilitando que escuelas y alumnos reciban los programas en forma gratuita. Los programas educativos de Junior Achievement han sido declarados de interés educativo por el Ministerio de Educación de la Provincia de Córdoba y la Nación.

Junior Achievement Hong Kong (JA HK) is a registered charity in Hong Kong and a member of JA Worldwide. We believe in the boundless potential of young people and provide a range of ‘Other Learning Experiences’ to inspire and empower them for future success. Using an activity-based learning approach, JA HK partners with educators, the commercial and public sectors to develop the Work Readiness, Entrepreneurial Thinking and Financial Literacy of young people in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in 2001, JA HK has engaged the support of over 20,000 business volunteers from some 700 companies to serve over 600 schools. Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) encourages young people to remain in education and teaches them the skills they need to succeed in a changing world. JAI is part of a worldwide organisation reaching out to 10 million young people each year. It was established in Ireland in 1995 and since then has built up successful partnerships with 160 leading organisations around the country. JAI works in partnership with our supporting organisations to complement the work of our schools by recruiting, training and managing business volunteers to work with students to inspire and motivate them to make the most of their education. European-wide research lists the following outcomes in support of business volunteers’ involvement in education, where participants: • have an easier time securing a job than their peers • earn higher salaries • are more motivated in their careers than their peers • are 4-5 times more likely to start their own businesses • show more self-confidence • more skilled at self-assessment • make better higher education choices • have higher rates of employability JAI works in partnership with supporting organisations to deliver entrepreneurship, science, maths and life skills programmes.
