Jon Altham is a Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist and Film Composer from the United Kingdom. Jon often collaborates and supports other musicians, whether that is through advising them how to approach certain ideas/projects or collaborating with them musically. Jon has released a piano instrumental called "The Best Of Us" which was written and produced by Jon Altham. Recently, he has been the Music Supervisor for several upcoming films, the latest one being 'Fears' which is listed on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). Music has always been a huge passion of his and Jon loves to be surrounded by people who share a similar mindset and vision. With that being said, he is always open to new ideas and influences. He says: "Music has the ability to change people's perspective, trigger memories and the ability to bring people together. It is a language listened to by so many people which goes from their ears straight to their soul. No matter your race, religion, gender or sexuality everyone comes together to share that same moment. That's what makes it special to me." Jon takes inspiration from many different genres of music, and since composing more for TV and Film it has expanded his music further. He says: "Anything is possible if you put your heart into it. If you believe in yourself, you'll achieve great things." As part of his vision for supporting the arts and other musicians Jon has created a platform called "SoundWave". SoundWave is a platform aimed for anyone of any ability in the music industry. It is a community where like-minded people can come together and create a positive and constructive environment. You can post your own hints and tips and share them to your own followers to read/learn from, you can have discussions and learn about new techniques and ways to improve your skills further, you can also upload your own music for people to give constructive feedback on.
