The company was established in 1973 by Rob Johnston, Jr. Johnny’s mission is helping families, friends, and communities to feed one another by providing superior seeds, tools, information and service. Since our founding in 1973 we have grown into an international, employee-owned multichannel breeder and purveyor of seeds, plants, tools, and supplies, all predicated on best-in-class customer support and backed by research, trialing, and information.
