Founded over 60 years ago to serve the communities of greater Clifton and Passaic, Jewish Family Service has a history of evolving services to families in need regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. Jewish Family Service currently provides a vast range of services, including individual, couples, martial & family counseling, group, play and sand therapy, crisis intervention, case management, child-centered mental health services, school consultations, domestic violence services, trauma center, community-based geriatric services, vocational services, a food pantry trauma center, services for individuals with special-needs, in-home visits and programs for holocaust survivors. JFS provides quality social services to address needs in the Jewish and broader communities within Greater St. Louis. JFS empowers people in need to meet the challenges of daily living. JFS meets this need by offering a multitude of programs in five focus areas: resolving problems, protecting children at risk, maintaining elderly in their homes, supporting those in need of help with basic needs, and enhancing Jewish connections.
