Our family owned and operated business was established in 1976 as a specialty Interior Design firm. Our sister company DBI, a Southeastern Wisconsin based Design-Build company was formed in 1986. In 2012 we merged I-Design and DBI to combine talents and skills totaling over 100 years of experience. Since the inception of our companies, we have worked to provide a full service offering to our clients. Construction can be intimidating to those unfamiliar with the process, but at I-Design we focus on a step by step approach. We follow our clients from Concept to Completion in order to put their minds at ease. I-Drop Water is a for profit social impact company based in South Africa that designs, builds and installs drinking water purification and dispensing machines in general grocery stores at no cost, sharing ongoing revenue from water sales with store owners. I-Drop monitors sales in real time using integrated GSM (mobile phone sim card) technology. Shoppers buy safe drinking water from a store by refilling multi-use water containers at I-Drop Water machines and paying by the litre at a fraction of the per-litre cost of bottled water. We are a mission-driven business and have helped shop owners save over 4 million litres of water waste and over 7,000 kgs of plastic waste associated with alternative drinking water solutions. We currently have I-Drop Water purification and dispensing units in over 70 locations in South Africa and Botswana.
