We at HandsOn London are here to make volunteering an easy and manageable reality for hard working Londoners. We challenge the norm with a unique way to volunteer, one day at a time. Almost every day HandsOn London community volunteers are out supporting Homeless Shelters, Soup Kitchens, Food Banks, Older People’s projects, Children’s Centres and environmental projects across London. We make it possible for individuals to give the amount of time they want, without a big commitment. We also organise Corporate teams to volunteer together through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes. We work to understand the needs and interests of your company and employees to tailor a programme that rewards all those involved.

Unsere Handwerkskammer gibt dem saarländischen Handwerk eine Stimme, die in Politik, Medien und Verwaltung gehört wird. Im Rahmen der Selbstverwaltung der Wirtschaft hat der Staat den Handwerkskammern eine Reihe hoheitlicher Aufgaben übertragen, so zum Beispiel bei der Ausbildung. Gäbe es die HWK als Selbstverwaltungseinrichtung des Handwerks nicht, so müsste eine klassische Behörde diese Aufgaben übernehmen. Es darf als fraglich gelten, ob sie hoheitliche Aufgaben im Handwerk effizienter regeln würde als eine HWK, die vom Miteinander des Haupt- und Ehrenamtes lebt.
