Hampshire Care Association (HCA) is a not for profit association, representing adult Residential Care providers in Hampshire that represents approximately £300m worth of independent and voluntary social care enterprises. Our goal is to ensure that care provision in Hampshire is of the highest standard and quality and that those requiring care receive it with dignity and compassion. We are the Voice for Residential Care Providers in Hampshire and work in partnership with Hampshire County Council, Southampton City Council and Portsmouth City Council. Throughout the year we have continued dialogue with all the above councils and hold regular meetings with all three to represent our members concerns and issues which affect OUR sector. We have a direct line of access to key stake holders, CQC cross-government groups, select committees and ministers reporting back to members and speaking up on Members behalf. We continue to maintain and increase the pressure on Local Authorities enabling us to negotiate passionately for a Fair Price for Care. We are represented on the Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) Southampton (SAB) and Portsmouth (SAB) and can guide our Members throughout Safeguarding issues.
