e.motion21 is Australia's only community based not-for-profit provider of evidence-based dance, fitness and performance programs for youth with Down syndrome. The benefits of the e.motion21 program are wide-ranging and include health, exercise, social and self-esteem outcomes for participants. These benefits in-turn positively impact our students families and the community at large. The organisation's vision is to enhance lives and change perceptions of Down syndrome within society through dance, fitness and performance. We achieve this vision through the philosophy of Moving Bodies and Moving Boundaries: Moving bodies; providing weekly programs to children and young adults within supportive and social environments tailored to meet the specific learning needs of people with Down syndrome. BISSO & SON, INC. is proudly owned by 5th generation family descendants of Captain Joseph Bisso who founded the company by launching a ferry service to row people across the Mississippi River in Uptown New Orleans. E.N. BISSO & SON, INC. can trace these early days of the company’s activities back to 1880 and the oars in our logo are a salute to our origins. This enterprise quickly expanded to employ the use of steam-powered ferries and tugs. The ferry business grew into a sizable venture and was eventually sold to the State of Louisiana. In 1946, the company was split up and Captain Edwin Napoleon Bisso and his son, Joseph August Bisso, II formed their own company with 6 tugboats and 2 heavy-lift derricks, naming it E.N. BISSO & SON. Since then, the company has grown and evolved to its position today as a leading U.S. Gulf & East Coast provider of harbor tug and towing services. WHO WE ARE E.N. Bisso provides ship-assist/harbor tug services in four ports: New Orleans/the Mississippi River; Gulfport, Mississippi; Port Canaveral, Florida and Palm Beach, Florida. Galliera Hospital: a Genoese legacy The "Galliera Hospitals" Institution (established as Opera Pia De Ferrari Brignole Sale) owes its origins to the munificence of the Duchess of Galliera who had it built between 1877 and 1888. Presidential Decree of the Council of Ministers 14/07/1995 established it as a high-specialisation hospital of national importance. In line with its guiding principles and the most recent acquisitions in the area of health care, the Galliera is characterised as the realisation of a hospital model open to the territory and to citizens. It is capable of responding effectively to health care demand with a capacity of 450 beds (data updated at 31.12.2018 www.galliera.it/galliera-live). The health care aspect, from a standpoint of an integrated diagnostic-therapeutic-rehabilitative process, scientific research, training, and technological and organisational innovation, constitutes the strategic core of activities performed daily by each of the professionals in their own sphere of competence. The E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute is a highly-qualified research staff, including 70 Dr.of Techn. Sci., 250 Cand.of Techn. Sci. Departments and laboratories of the Institute are equipped with up-to-date research and measuring-analytical equipment. The Institute is headed by academician Paton Boris Evgenievich, the world-famous scientist. The E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute fulfills the orders of domestic and foreign partners according to the following directions: - conductance of research works; - scientific-technical consultations; - scientific-technical and analog expertise of projects, structures and technologies; - training and attestation of scientific and engineering staff workers; - conductance of designing works for the creation of specialized equipment and fixture; - rendering engineering assistance in transfer of new technologies, equipment, inspection and control systems; - conductance of standard and special tests of welded joints; - certification of structures, technologies, materials and equipment by national and international standards; - providing scientific-technical and reference-bibliographic information; - realizing export-import operations (via INPAT company at PWI). The E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute is a corporative member of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and European Welding Federation (EWF). The E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute – is a head organization of the Scientific-Technical Complex “The E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute” of NAS of Ukraine (STC PWI), which includes Design-Technological Bureau, Engineering Centers of high technologies, pilot workshops on explosion welding and treatment, and also a powerful production facility in the form of three pilot plants manufacturing welding equipment, consumables and using new technologies, which are capable to design, manufacture and deliver the pilot samples and batches of specialized equipment, welding and filler materials, welded structures and weldments.
