Davis Technical College provides a competency-based education environment, which prepares high school and adult students with career and technical skills. The flexibility of open-entry scheduling allows students to start school anytime without waiting for a specific date (i.e. quarters or semesters). Davis Tech's affordable tuition allows full-time adult students to attend for a base rate of $2.66 per hour and high school students to attend at no tuition cost. In addition, formal articulation agreements between Davis Tech with LDS Business College, Weber State University, and Utah State University allow for credit equivalency. Davis Technical College currently offers certificate programs in the Schools of Business and Technology, Construction, Health Professions, Manufacturing, Service Professions, and Transportation. Davis Vibration Dynamic Balancing Services specializes in the efficient balancing of steam turbine rotors and gas turbine rotors. We understand the necessity for completing an outage in a time critical manner. By having us conduct a dynamic low speed balance of your rotor on site we can save your company the time and cost of shipping your rotor to a repair facility. We typically work with turbine repair facilities to assist in timely repair and get your plant back up and running as soon as possible. Davis Vibration Dynamic Balancing Services does not conduct turbine repairs, all we do is balance. Precision stand balancing consist of a low speed balance in one of our portable balancing machines. Davis Vibration owns 4 portable balancing machines with the capability to balance rotors up to 200,000 lbs. We have the capability to conduct two and three bearing / plane balancing. In 1955 Grant Davis accepted a position from his stepbrother, Bob Moore at Bob Moore Oldsmobile. From this association, Grant acquired other dealerships in the city and began fostering strong community ties.
