The California Cable and Telecommunications Association is the industrys largest state cable and telecommunications association. CCTA is a leader in the development of video and communications policy in Sacramento and in Washington DC. CCTA represents the industry before the State Legislature, state and federal courts, the California Public Utilities Commission, the California State Board of Equalization and other State agencies, and the Federal Communications Commission. Paramount among the Association's goals has been ensuring that the cable industry remains competitive in the rapidly changing world of information and communication services that contribute significantly to California's economy. Headquartered in Sacramento, across the street from the State Capitol, CCTA represents cable companies and program content providers located in every county in the State. The partnership between the Legislature, the local communities and the cable industry will continue to benefit Californians for years to come.

California Calls is a growing alliance of 31 grassroots, community-based organizations spanning urban, rural and suburban counties across the state. We engage, educate and motivate new and infrequent voters among young people, from communities of color, and from poor and working class neighborhoods to make California’s electorate reflect our state’s diverse population. Through our bottom-up approach, we are organizing voters most impacted by budget cuts and deteriorating public services in support of systemic, progressive solutions to our state’s fiscal crisis. Working together, and including those who are often left out of policy decisions, we believe we can reclaim the California Dream of equality, opportunity and prosperity for all Californians.
