BeED is a technology startup that aims to revolutionize the education and travel industries by allowing learners to explore and connect their school syllabus to actual points of interest around the world. BeED is also a marketplace for schools, travel agencies, educators and learners. The location-based app will allow students to learn while traveling abroad or even in their home-country. Students can choose any host of subjects based on their proficiency and level of education, and use a mobile device to be guided through an interactive learning experience. This app will allow students to choose what they want to learn, where they want to learn and to do it at their own pace, on-demand.

Since 2008, the firm has served more than fifty firms inside and outside Nepal. beed’s domain can be divided into five broad areas. Boutique Advisory: This includes mergers and acquisitions. With a history of successful completion of deals, the high deal flow continues to attract firms and investors. Fund management: Pioneered the concept of private equity fund in Nepal, structured funds, advised Nepal’s largest fund belonging to the Nepal Army Welfare Fund and won a global bid to manage International Finance Corporation (IFC)’s Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Venture Fund. beed also pioneered the concept of portfolio management in Nepal through beed invest, Nepal’s first operational portfolio management company. Advisory and Management Consulting: Valuation, diagnostic studies, feasibility studies, operations streamlining and sectoral studies. Development Consulting: In conjunction with the beed promoted not-for-profit, Nepal Economic Forum. It works with a variety of bilaterals, multilaterals, and national and international NGOs in the areas of policy research, economic analysis, value chain analysis, enterprise development, sectoral studies and public private dialogue. Beed Leadership Center: Conducts leadership programs through its proprietary thinkshop modules and also provides high-end personal and group coaching services.

Since the creation of Canada's first Executive MBA in 1968 and Simon Fraser University’s business faculty in 1982, the Beedie School of Business has championed lifelong learning, productive change, and the need to be innovative as we deliver research and teaching that creates impact. 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Beedie School of Business. We are born of SFU’s radical roots and have been “redefining radical” throughout our 40-year history. To us, that means boldly stepping up, challenging convention, and changing course to lead in a new direction. This ethos has made us a school of firsts: the 1st in Canada to offer an Executive MBA; The 1st in Canada to offer a Management of Technology MBA; the 1st and only university in North America to offer an Indigenous Business Leadership Executive MBA; and the distinction of being in the 1% of business schools with both an AACSB and EMFD accreditation. With undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs that are supported by extensive partnerships with public, private and non-profit organizations, our goal is to produce broadly educated, enterprising and socially responsible professionals capable of making lasting contributions to their communities.
