Ballet Hawaii's mission is to teach, present, promote and produce dance in Hawaii. Ballet Hawaii has been enriching Hawaii's cultural environment by teaching, promoting, presenting, and producing dance since 1976. Classes are focused on building self-confidence through accomplishment, while its presentations of world-class performances provide the community with the priceless gift of professional quality dance. In addition to a year-round training program offered at facilities in Honolulu and Waipahu, Ballet Hawaii also offers a three-week Summer Intensive session, featuring teachers from the international dance community.

BalletNova Center for Dance (formerly Arlington Center for Dance/The Center Dance Company) is dedicated to educating and mentoring dancers in a positive, nurturing environment and preserving the traditions of classical ballet through quality dance productions and education. The Center has been part of the Northern Virginia cultural community since 1981, producing accessible and affordable dance performances that inspire and entertain. BalletNova offers all levels of children's pre-professional Ballet curriculum, plus Modern, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop for youth dancers. BalletNova has one of the most comprehensive adult dance programs in the DC Metropolitan area and offers beginner - intermediate/advanced levels in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz and conditioning. In July 2008, BalletNova moved into a beautiful 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art space with five fully finished dance studios. By September 2010 BalletNova's sixth studio will become a black-box studio performance space, the only one designed for dance in Northern Virginia.
