The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is one of the greatest initiatives for Veterans Affairs Voluntary Services (VAVS). The program focuses on molding student volunteers into strong servant leaders. By developing their leadership skills and providing opportunities to engage with mentors and other students from across the nation, the SLC’s aim is to produce skilled volunteers who have a greater appreciation for Veteran based servant leadership and volunteering.
