The University of Victoria Students'​ Society (UVSS), founded in 1963, is a student society that represents all undergraduate students at the University of Victoria. The Society operates several businesses and provides services to students in the Student Union Building (SUB). The Society advocates on behalf of students on important issues such as increasing accessibility to education, racism, affordable public transportation and environmental sustainability. In addition, the UVSS helps to provide a discounted "Universal Bus Pass"​ (UPass) to students. The Society administers clubs and course unions and also organizes several events on- and off-campus.
