Tapojärvi is a 69-year-old family business from Northern Finland. Our strong will, implementation capacity, curiosity and courage to tackle challenges are what make us strong. Our core competencies include mining and mill services and the circular economy. Our constantly renewing, extensive machinery is new and up-to-date. We invest a significant proportion of the company’s cash flow in product development together with industry, research institutes and companies. The company has solid financial and material resources. We have nearly 700 in-house experts working in 12 different locations around Europe. Tapojärvi Oy has been certified according to ISO 9001 standards. Our health and safety management system is based on ISO 45001 standard. Rewards: Tapojärvi was rewarded as the best slag handler in the world in 2010 in Sydney, Australia. In 2019 the company received a Global slag innovation award. In October 2019 Tapojärvi was named as Entrepreneur of the Year.
