Tandem International Multilingual School has three premises on the northern shore of the lake of Zurich. We offer places to children starting from the age of 6 months going up to 6th grade of primary school. Our programmes are bilingual English-German or trilingual English-German-French. Tandem IMS is a school with high academic standards that provides individual care to each of our children. The schools unique curriculum and philosophy are anchored in the Lehrplan of Kanton Zürich and are further supplemented, and ultimately enhanced by, the UK and international curricula. Children who attend Tandem IMS follow a rigorous programme and are assessed against local and international standards of attainment. With us, children will be challenged to perform academically whilst being able to develop a true love for learning and understanding the value in both collaborating and taking initiative. We offer a comprehensive range of academics and a strong creative arts programme with specialist teachers in generously equipped classrooms. At the same time, we are equally proud to develop our pupils IT and computer proficiency in an ever-expanding area and are tremendously fortunate to have excellent IT resources which children learn to integrate for real and challenging purposes. Sports and swimming also play a vital role in developing a sense of teamwork at the school and allow for participation to be celebrated. It is not always easy to study at a high academic level in two or more languages and we are extremely proud to see our children become confident and courageous to integrate and feel comfortable in our ever expanding multicultural and multilingual world. Celebrating cultural diversity and history from around the globe further enriches social interactions and the enhancement of multicultural understandings.
