SC Gjøa (pronounced YO-ah) was started by Norwegian immigrants in 1911 and is the oldest youth soccer club in New York and quite possibly the nation. Our Brooklyn-based program provides soccer camps, travel soccer, and soccer classes and clinics for girls & boys ages 4 to 18 years. The club has over 800 participants each year. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, we put kids before earnings in every aspect of our approach to teaching young people the beautiful game.
